A little PHP code that saved me alot of SQL work
For the past few months I have been basically building from scratch the web infrastructure for Arcanatura. I have been primarily developing the U.S. website. But I also had to do a basic install that would be ready for our translators to translate and write topics for spanish speakers. The major problem was though that UTF-8_general_ci does not support special often commonly used Spanish langauge characters. So I had the issue of converting our wordpress install into a spanish ready database.
Facebook Event List PHP widget
I searched the internet high and low looking for a simple facebook events widget that allows you to pull events from my facebook fanpage events directly to a webpage (via php). Luckly Steve Rolfe a buddy of mine helped by whipping up this code, which I modified a little bit. This php code is embeddable into any site joomla, wordpress, etc, and takes events and lists them in a standard row.

This program is a minimalistic file grabber that I found online, and Steve Rolfe fixed/modified. It allows you to remotely “download” or move multiple files to your server that are stored and accessible on other servers. All you need is the http address of the file, and then you can download it straight to your server.

The Joomla 1.0.x PNG Lite only effects backend load times, NOT front end! This is only due to the fact that Joomla 1.0 does not come with any core PNG files that are loaded via the front end (except template png files).

Metascore Button Joomla 1.5 Plugin
This Joomla editor plugin was created for users who use the Metascore Plugin on their Joomla based website. The original Metascore plugin was originally developed by Mr. Ayan Debnath and this plugin simply adds on to what he has done. This addon has been verified by the Joomla Extension Directory. To use this plugin you must install and publish the Metascoreplugin to your site. Following that you can install and publish the Metascorebutton plugin.
